This Art of Love art print, L’CHAIM, is part of the “Taking Black Out of the Scale” series (2003-2011) by Sarit Rotman.
During a challenging period marked by a long-standing eating disorder, Sarit channeled her struggle into art. She used vivid colors and symbolic elements to create an optimistic and naive world, which ultimately played a crucial role in her recovery. Each piece from this series reflects her healing journey, capturing moments of transformation through the creation of original and colorful pop art. Witnessing these paintings come to life inspired Sarit to launch Project 2020, an optimistic social art initiative. These artworks were first presented in a solo exhibition in 2011.
