This family-time art print is a Life scene from “Taking Black Out of the Scale” (2003-2011) by Sarit Rotman.
An inspiring group of artworks was created during a time when she was dealing with a long-standing eating disorder. Using vivid colors and symbolic elements, Sarit created an optimistic and naive world that ultimately changed her life and led to her recovery.
The works reflect Sarit’s healing journey through the creation of original and colorful pop art, with each painting capturing a moment from this transformative period.
Witnessing some of these paintings come to life inspired her to initiate a healing art project: Project 2020, an optimistic social art project.
These artworks were presented for the first time in a solo exhibition in 2011.
