Animal Friends 💔 Farewell to Two Great Loves
At the end of 2024, I bid farewell to two cherished furry companions – Shimshon, a 19-year-old cat, and Bono, a 13-year-old dog. They weren’t just pets; they were soulmates and an inseparable part of my family, my heart, and my creative journey.
For many years, these Animal Friends filled our lives with unconditional love, warmth, and joy, leaving us with countless treasured memories.
This post is a tribute to the memory of my beloved Animal Friends, written with deep love and longing.

Shimshon joined us in 2005 when she was less than a month old. She was the first pet my partner and I adopted together, and she quickly became a vital part of our lives. Her personality was unique – brave, curious, and free-spirited. For nearly two decades, she accompanied us through every significant stage in life – from my first steps as an artist to becoming a mother.

Shimshon lived a full and adventurous life. She once fell from the fourth floor, disappeared three times, and always found her way back home as if nothing had happened. She was a great love and a loyal companion in my artistic journey, always inspiring me to create new pieces, especially for the Animal Friends category on my website, where I share moments that celebrate the bond with animals.
Bono – An Animal Friend with a Giant Heart
A Loyal Companion Through Every Moment

Twelve years after Shimshon joined us, we welcomed another member into our family. That’s when Bono came into our lives—a rescue dog with a huge heart and endless love. Bono quickly became my closest companion, always by my side during walks, in the studio, and during challenging times.
He wasn’t just a friend; he was also a source of inspiration for many of my creations in the Animal Friends category, which is dedicated to the special connection between people and animals. Bono brought so much joy into our lives, constantly encouraging me to take long walks and find inspiration in the world around me. His bond with Shimshon was truly special – they were best friends, and it felt as though they chose to leave us together, as they couldn’t be apart.

Memories, Love, and Longing – Animal Friends
Shimshon and Bono gave us countless magical moments and cherished memories that became a part of who we are. They brought us joy and warmth, and thanks to them, I created some of my most beautiful pieces in the Animal Friends category. This post is dedicated to their memory, with immense love and longing that will never fade.

Adopt a Furry Friend
If you don’t have a furry friend yet, I highly recommend adopting one. A furry companion brings joy, warmth, and unconditional love into your home.
